Kyustendil is one of the most ancient Bulgarian cities, captivating with its cultural and historical sights, mineral springs and fertile orchards. Since Roman times, the city has become an important balneological center that still attracts thousands of visitors to this day. With its 40 mineral springs, it proudly bears the nickname "the city of springs". In antiquity, it was called Pautalia, and according to scientists, the name means "spring city" or "gushing springs".

Art Gallery
"Vladimir Dimitrov - Master"
Art Gallery "Vladimir Dimitrov-Maistora" was founded in 1944 with the opening of an exhibition, including 50 canvases of the Master, donated by the artist himself.
The gallery has a unique collection of works that show the rich traditions and high achievements in the visual arts, above all of those of Kyustendil, but also of other prominent Bulgarian and foreign artists.
Fun Park "Osogovo"
Fun Park Osogovo is located 20 km from Kyustendil and 100 km from Sofia. The park aims to predispose every winter sports practitioner to find their place for training, fun or to confidently enter winter sports. The altitude of the Osogovo fun park is 1600 meters. It has 10 artificial snow cannons, lighting for night riding, ski tow, world-class facilities, outdoor and indoor barbecue, bar and restaurant, ski and snowboard storage.


The Giant Sequoias
Three unique century-old sequoias - giant sequoias proudly tower in the area of "Yuchbunar" in the area of the Kyustendil village of Bogoslov. They were declared a natural landmark in 1989 with the aim of preserving centuries-old trees. These are also the oldest sequoias in Bulgaria, and their age is over 130 years.
Museum of History
It is one of the oldest museums in the Republic of Bulgaria and, as you will see, it has extremely rich museum funds and collections from all historical eras.
Among the exhibits in the "Prehistory" section are the earliest known ceramic vessels from the territory of Bulgaria, a variety of zoomorphic and anthropomorphic plastic and the unique model of a furnace with a lunar calendar, considered the earliest known in Europe.


Karting track "Pautalia"
The Pautalia karting track is located in the immediate vicinity of the town of Kyustendil. It is located in the southwestern part of the city of Kyustendil. It is reached by a nice asphalted road. It is surrounded by a beautiful pine forest.
The track is free for visitors. Karts can be played every day. There is also lighting on the track.


Kadin Bridge
Kadin Bridge is a medieval bridge over the Struma River - the fifth longest in Bulgaria, located in the center of Nevestino village. According to an inscription carved into a granite slab in the eastern fence on the south side of the bridge in Turkish. Kadin Bridge was built in 1470 by order of Isak Pasha during the reign of Sultan Mehmed II. A few years earlier, the Pasha had barely managed to cross the stormy floodwaters of the Struma River through these places on his way to Bosnia.
